Distributor Program Overview

Since 1985, the NISSCO Buying Group has provided its Members with value through purchasing programs that deliver "buy-side" programs and incentives. Today, through 116 Preferred Suppliers, NISSCO Distributors enjoy:

Group leveraged purchasing programs with premier manufacturers of janitorial supplies, paper products, can liners, maintenance equipment and disposables.

Membership Guidelines

Preferred Supplier Program
NISSCO identifies vendors (both manufacturers and re-distributors) who supply products that are applicable to the profile of the Jan/San Distributor and that deliver additional value through programs and incentives. These vendors are designated as NISSCO Preferred Suppliers.

Purchasing Programs
On behalf of the membership, NISSCO negotiates with its Preferred Suppliers to receive rebates, group leveraged national cost structures, and promotions or "special buy" opportunities.

CJDs
NISSCO distributors that purchase from NISSCO Preferred Suppliers earn CJDs as negotiated with the Supplier. The Supplier pays these CJDs quarterly as a percentage rebate based on the purchase volume. NISSCO will process these payments and forward the Member's CJDs.

Annual Buying Conference
Each year NISSCO will organize a National Buying Conference for all Preferred Suppliers and Distributor Members. During this conference NISSCO Members will have the opportunity to visit with each Preferred Supplier and take advantage of "Show Special" buying opportunities. The conference will also feature educational programs and a host of other activities, awards and prizes.

Electronic Commerce
Interested NISSCO distributors have access to a range of technologies and e-commerce initiatives. These opportunities include private label web sites, electronic catalogs, "back-end" services and integration.

National Accounts
NISSCO Members have an opportunity to participate in National Account business as it becomes available. NISSCO develops supply programs for prominent end-user customers in markets including lodging, real estate, government, retail and industrial operations. These opportunities are directed to the local NISSCO Member who delivers and invoices the sale.
